After your first oil change, your oil may appear darker as deposits are lifted from the engine. With continued use, subsequent oil changes may stay cleaner for longer. Since every engine is different, many drivers may notice smoother and quieter engine operation.

The recommended treatment amount varies by application:
- Engine: 1 oz of Cilifer® LubriBoost per 1 quart of motor oil. For best results, use up to 2 oz per 1 quart of motor oil.
- Differentials: 2 oz per 1 quart of gear oil.
- Transfer cases: 2 oz per 1 quart of oil.
- Power steering pumps: 1–2 oz per 1 quart of oil.

If your crankcase is already filled to its maximum capacity, drain enough oil first to make room for the treatment. Do not exceed your engine’s recommended oil capacity, as overfilling can cause damage. If the oil level is below the maximum mark on the dipstick, you can generally add the appropriate amount without draining oil first.

Yes, but compatibility should be confirmed in your motorcycle owner’s manual first, particularly if the manufacturer advises against friction modifiers. For compatible wet-clutch applications, use 1 oz of Cilifer® LubriBoost per quart of engine oil.

- Metal-to-metal wet clutches: not recommended ❌
